BIOGRAPHY

Liz Hickok is a San Francisco, California-based artist working in photography, video, and installation. She received an M.F.A. from Mills College, Oakland and a B.F.A. from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, Boston. Hickok’s artwork has been exhibited across the country and is included in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas; the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco; and the Mills College Art Museum, as well as in the collections of Kaiser Permanente and Blue Shield. Most recently, her work was included in You Are Here: NYC: Mapping the Soul of the City by Katharine Harmon (New York: Princeton Architectural Press, 2016). She just completed a commission for Google’s San Francisco offices, and is part of the 2017–2018 Waterlines exhibition at the New Museum of Los Gatos, California.
