Manoj Kumar Jain, a graduate of the Delhi College of Art, New Delhi, India, is a widely traveled photographer whose repertoire includes human stories, celebrity portraits, conceptual still lifes, and advertising campaigns. His unique way of seeing the world is evident throughout his work.
His solo exhibitions include: The Forgotten Frames, The Aifacs Gallery, New Delhi (2015), and India Habitat Centre, New Delhi (2014); Tiger Talk, Bharatiya Parvasi Divas, Toronto, Canada (2011) and Azad Bhawan, New Delhi (2011); Anantanant, Academy of Fine Arts and Literature, New Delhi (2004); and Hidden Within the Shades of White, National Centre for the Performing Arts, Mumbai, India (2001).
His work has also been featured in group shows at the Whitechapel Gallery, London (2010); Fotomuseum, Zurich (2010); Under the Mango Tree Design Studio, Berlin (2016); Grosvenor Vadhera Art Gallery, London (2008); the Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi (2011); and Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa, India (2016), among others.
